Dear MMOBE and PhD. students and professors,
Next September (from Wednesday 4 to Thursday 5) we will hold the 13th International Business Economics Workshop in Palma de Mallorca. The workshop will include academic presentations of ongoing research from senior researchers and PhD. students from the DEMO Program, as well as MMOBE Master Thesis defenses.
MMOBE students, about your Master Thesis presentations:
- Presentations will be scheduled on Wednesday 4 in the evening, beginning at 14:00.
- Your dissertation (a pdf file) should be sent by email to your supervisor and to lluis.bru@uib.es on August 31 at the latest, without exception.
- If we do not receive a copy of the dissertation prior to August 31, we will cancel the reading of your Master Thesis dissertation.
- The members of the Master Thesis evaluation committees will receive on September 1 the pdf you sent.
- We must receive the slides of your presentation on September 3 (i.e. the day before the beginning of the workshop). You must prepare a presentation that lasts about 15 minutes.
- You must send the copy of the slides to lluis.bru@uib.es
PhD. students:
Please let us know if you plan to present your ongoing research in Palma.
Your presentations will be scheduled on Thursday 5 in the morning.
Ibew MMOBE and PhD. students. To confirm your participation in the workshop you must send an email to Mireia Cirera, mireia.cirera@uab.cat or m.mmobe@uab.cat with the subject “IBEW 13” before July 14.
Accommodation in Mallorca:
The organization will pay to MMOBE students 1 night in double rooms -i.e. that you must share with another DEMO or MMOBE student- in the UIB’s residence (entry Wednesday 4; exit Thursday 5 September). Hence you will have to plan a flight to Palma for Wednesday morning.
